Criminal Damage in the Forest East Park
Last weekend, the 16th of March someone was seen in the Forest East Park, removing some trees from along the boundary of properties on Rushmere Walk and the Forest East Park. This was done with a chainsaw.
We have reported the matter to the Local Police Beat Team.

Major Award for New Lubbesthorpe Development
Blaby District Council has won a major national award after being shortlisted in the annual LGC Awards for the New Lubbesthorpe development.
The Council was shortlisted in the Housing Initiative category, which looked at how local authorities devise imaginative solutions to ease problems including a shortage of both market and affordable housing.
