We have received a report of a resident being scammed from a group claiming to be from our Planning Department.

The email claimed that a PDF reader to view planning documents needed to be downloaded, with a link to the "software." The software managed to get hold of their bank details and deleted the original email.

7 County Waste Sites to re-open

Plans being finalised for re-opening of seven county waste sites

The county council is putting the finishing touches to its plans to re-open seven of its recycling and household waste sites next week.

Police Notified of Unauthorised Football Match

It has been brought to the Parish Council's attention that an unauthorised game of football was played on the field behind the Parish Hall at the weekend. Participants were not seen to keep the required 2 metres apart. The police have been informed. The Parish Council does not condone football matches at the present time, or any other breaches of the 2 metre rule, on its parks or open spaces.
