On Sunday the 11th of March a group of young people entered the parish hall and caused damage in the changing rooms.

A lady had kindly left a message on the parish office telephone reporting this to us. Unfortunately she did not leave a contact telephone number.

Dog theft awareness campaign launched

A campaign launched by the Dogs Trust to make owners aware of an increase in dog thefts is being supported by Blaby District Council.

Residents are being reminded to ensure they remain vigilant at all times with their dogs. Thefts commonly take place outside shops, with owners reminded not to leave their dog unattended in any public areas.

Blaby District Council Lottery total tops £13,000

Just two weeks after launch, the Love Blaby Lottery has already raised an estimated £13,000 for local good causes.

Following the start of ticket sales in late January, over 400 have been sold across the 30 district-based organisations. This means the estimated yearly total for all tickets has already hit over £13,000.

Two residents in Enderby have been ordered to pay over £2000 each after breaching planning regulations at their home.

Blaby District Council urges collar and tag awareness

Blaby District Council is urging residents to ensure they do not fall foul of a law fining dog owners failing to have appropriate identification on their dog.

The Control of Dogs Order (1992) says that a dog in a public place must wear a collar bearing the name and address (including postcode) of the owner engraved or written on it, or engraved on a tag.
